This paper theoretically predicts and experimentally verifies new correlations within scattering media, such as biological tissue. Part of our future work will build upon this discovery – with the aim to overcome tissue scattering and to realise high-resolution optical microscopy at depths that haven't before been accessible to the biomedical research community.
